  • A sub-agent hierarchy lets you build a tiered reporting structure for your sub-agents, so commission splits roll up through the right chain automatically. Here's how to build one and assign it to a case's commission split.

    In this video:

    • Start a new hierarchy from Sub-Agents > Hierarchies > New Hierarchy
    • Set each tier's sub-agent, product type, commission rate type and commission split
    • Add a tier that reports to the one above it, then save the hierarchy
    • Apply the hierarchy to a case from Split > Manage Split Settings with Assign based on Hierarchy

If you have questions, please reach out to our support team.

  • Watch how to have NextAgency add a sub-agent's split to a case automatically whenever an imported commission statement names them.

    In this video:

    • Turning on Auto-Apply Split on a sub-agent's split schedule
    • Adding the sub-agent's NPN on their Licenses tab
    • Mapping the Sub-Agent Name and Sub-Agent NPN columns on a commission import
    • Finding the Auto-Applied split on the case

If you have questions, please reach out to our support team.

  • Watch how to manage the commission splits already assigned to a sub-agent from their Assigned Splits tab: end a split, change its terms, hand it to another sub-agent, or remove it.

    In this video:

    • Find a sub-agent's splits on their Assigned Splits tab
    • Terminate a split by setting its termination date
    • Update Split to change a split's terms from a switch date
    • Replace Sub-Agent when someone else takes over, including what to do with Auto-Apply rules
    • Remove a sub-agent from a case without a replacement

If you have questions, please reach out to our support team.

  • Watch how to give a sub-agent their own login and share their commission statements with it, so you don't have to email statements one by one.

    In this video:

    • Adding External User seats from Manage Seats
    • Creating an External View user linked to a sub-agent
    • Sharing a Sub-Agents Statements report with external users
    • What the external user sees when they log in

  • In this video, you'll see just how easy it is to manage your sub-agents, especially when you're tracking commissions.

  • In NextAgency we call downstream agents sub-agents. When you need to share compensation you receive with these sub-agents, you can set up a schedule. This enables you to see what sub-agents are producing, what they're owed, and the cases they tend to sell. You can even generate commission statements. Here's how to set-up the splits that get this done.
