Dashboard Views let you save, switch between, and share different dashboard layouts, so you and your team can each work from the view that fits your role.
What Is a Dashboard View?
A Dashboard View is a saved combination of tiles and filters. Instead of reconfiguring your dashboard every time your focus changes, you can save a view and switch to it instantly. Views can be kept private or shared with your entire team.
Default System Templates
NextAgency includes four built-in template views to get you started:
| Template | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Sales Overview | Added cases, cases by stage, cases by sales status, recent task activity |
| Commission Focus | Commission statements and receipts by date |
| Activity Feed | Recent activities and notes, checklists, and workflows activity |
| Policies Overview | Benefit and policy data tiles: renewals by month, policies by market segment, policies by product type, policies by broker of record |
To apply a template, click Views → find the template → click template name to apply
Switching Between Views
- Click the Views drop-down menu in the top-right of the Dashboard.
- Your saved views and any public team views appear in the list.
- Click a view name to switch to it, or click View all to open the full Dashboard Views panel.
Saving a View
After configuring your tiles (see Managing Dashboard Tiles), click Save in the top-right. What happens next depends on which view you're currently on.
If you're on a template or public view: A Save Dashboard View dialog appears with the option to save as a new view. Enter a name, choose Private (only you) or Public (all users), then click Create & Apply.
If you're on your own private view: A Save Dashboard View dialog appears with two options:
- Save to existing view: Updates your current view with the new layout and filters
- Save as new view: Creates a new view, leaving the original unchanged
Choose your option and click Save View.
Managing Views
From the full Dashboard Views panel (Views → View all), each view has an Actions menu. The options available depend on whether the view is a system template or one you own.
