We're making an important update to improve the infrastructure behind the NextAgency add-in. This will provide a more reliable and secure foundation for the service going forward.
The update is quick and easy. Reinstalling takes about a minute, and you only need to do it once.
Your existing emails stay exactly where they are. Emails you've already attached to case records remain on those records, and the add-in looks and works the same once you're signed back in.
Using Outlook on the web, or the new Outlook for Windows and Mac
Step 1: Remove the current add-in
1. Sign in to Outlook and open any email.
2. On the Home ribbon, click the Apps icon (the grid icon toward the right end of the ribbon), then click Get add-ins at the bottom of the panel.
3. In the Add-Ins for Outlook window, click My add-ins on the left. Under Store Add-ins, click the three dots on the NextAgency card and choose Remove.
Step 2: Add it back
4. Type NextAgency in the search box at the top right of the same window and press Enter. Click Add on the NextAgency Email Add-In for Outlook.
5. Review the license terms and privacy policy, then click Continue.
6. Close the store window, open any email, and click the NextAgency icon in the row of icons at the top right of the message. Click Sign In and enter your NextAgency email address and password.
That's it. You're back up and running.
Using classic Outlook for Windows
1. On the Home ribbon, click All Apps (if you don't see it, you may need to add it to your ribbon).
2. Click My add-ins, find the NextAgency Email Add-In for Outlook, and remove it.
Step 2: Add it back
3. Search for NextAgency in the Add-ins search bar and click Add to install it again.
4. Open any email, click the NextAgency button to open the add-in, and sign in with your NextAgency email address and password.
If your add-in was installed by your administrator
If your organization's Microsoft 365 administrator deployed the add-in for you, the update is applied for you automatically and there is nothing for you to do. If you're not sure, check with your administrator.
